The lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hearand the poor have the gospel preached to them (Matthew 11:5)
By Mbaga Nzabakurana, ZTCC - Kigali, Rwanda, March 06, 2007

Bona (see photo 1), 14 years old, came to the service carried by 2 people. Since he was born, this little handsome boy was weakened by so many deficiencies: other than walking, he has never gone to the toilet to ease himself. After digestion, food could comeback they same way it entered; Bona was also deaf and dumb.

Well, that was until Monday February 27, 2007, around 6.30 pm, when the Apostle Paul Gitwaza boldly called for someone in church that came carried by other people. Bona was then taken in front, where the Apostle Paul Gitwaza declared that he is set free and can now walk. In front of the whole attendance, Bona made his first steps, firmly guided by the warm hands of the Apostle Paul. This was astonishing! On Friday March 2, a clean and smart Bona came back to witness about what happened in his life: although helped by the ushers, he himself made his way to the pulpit and in front of the church, witnessed that he could now eat, digest, and go normally to the toilet. HE COULD NOW HEAR AND TALK!

This is just one of the wonders the Lord has been performing in Zion Temple Celebration Center-Kigali, through His servant, the Apostle Paul Gitwaza and his fellow pastors of the same congregation. The deaf are hearing, the dumb are speaking, captives are set free.
This miracle rally, inspired by the Holy Spirit (started to last only 7 days, it is now in its 4th week) starts everyday at 5pm at the Zion Temple Celebration Center – Kigali and was attended by thirsty people coming from far beyond the Rwandan borders.

Much is still to be expected!

About Us

The AWM is a Christian ministry that started in 1996 in Kigali , the capital city of Rwanda, with a vision God gave in 1992 for an end time revival movement that will reach every corner of the world, to "Prepare the Bride of Christ for His imminent return." (Amos 4:12)

In August 1999, under the leadership of Apostle Paul Gitwaza, the ministry opened the doors of its first Zion Temple Celebration Center in Kigali, Rwanda. Six years later, Zion Temple Church has grown to be the largest church in Rwanda with a membership of 15000. The ministry has also expanded to other parts of the world, and is now present on three continents: Africa (Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Tanzania), Europe (Belgium, Denmark, France, UK) and America (USA).

ZTCC – Atlanta participates at ZHOP Keeping the Charge Conference
By Marcellin Mutuyimana
, March 20, 2007

The ASAPH praise, worship and dance teams of ZTCC-Atlanta were invited to ZHOP Keeping the Charge Conference held on March 16-18, 2007 in Fort Mill, South Carolina, just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. The conference was about developing Night and Day prayer and had for purpose to empower Houses of prayer leaders and their teams to keep a flame before God night and day in their respective cities. The conference was hosted by senior leaders Kirk Bennett from the House of prayer in Charlotte, Allen Hood and Ed Hackett from the House of prayer in Kansas City, and Billy Humphrey from the House of prayer in Atlanta. Leaders and teams from twelve Houses of Prayer in Eastern part of the USA participated at this conference.

The host of the conference, Kirk Bennett, invited us at this conference to introduce the Rhythms of Africa in the praise and worship. This invitation follows a deep rooted friendship he developed with Apostle Paul Gitwaza, Leader of the revival movement in Rwanda, during a trip he made in Kansas City three years ago, and another trip he made at Fort Mill last year. During this last trip, Apostle Paul Gitwaza released a prophetic word about the House of Prayer in Charlotte, which has now became their blue print prophecy.

The ASAPH teams that ministered to the Lord includes Inyange - a dance team of young girls (ages 8-10), and older girls (age 17), Intore - a team composed of young boys (ages 10-12), and Jean-Paul Samputu along with Ingeli, who are professional singers, dancers, and drummers, very proficient in Rwanda traditional music and instruments. They played Rwandan instruments such as leather drums, umuduli - a single string instrument, and ikondera - the Rwandan horn! According to one staff member at ZHOP, they all did a phonemal job, and the Grace of God on the teams touched many lives.

We left Atlanta on Friday evening and arrived at the conference around 10 pm. Immediately upon our arrival we enjoyed a wonderful time of praise and
worship. That night, Allen Hood ministered the Word of God on the intimacy with Christ. On Saturday afternoon we were called to minister during the break-out
session. Seemingly, people who were present enjoyed so much our music, dance, praise and worship that they made a recommendation that another session be allocated to us for the benefit of those who missed the first session. Accordingly, we were invited to lead praise and worship for 2 hour prior to the midnight session, with the prayer room packed to full capacity. It was a wonderful time to minister to the Lord and we are very much thankful to God for affording us the opportunity to serve Him, alongside and within the context of the House Prayer Movement in the USA. We are also thankful and give our blessings to the conference organizers for their obedience.
On early Sunday morning, we drove back to Atlanta, and arrived in time for our Sunday regular meeting which is held at 11:00 AM!

ZTCC – Atlanta presents Rythms of Africa on Resurrection Day - a Free Concert Featuring our own Dance Company Inyange & Intore along with Jean Paul Samputu and Ingeli by Aurora Muhuza, March 25, 2007

On April 8, 2007 at 6:00 PM, ZTCC - Atlanta is pleased to invite the public and the local community to a free concert featuring The Rythms of Africa with our own Dance Companies Inyange and Intore, but also the Internationally acclaimed Jean Paul Samputu and Ingeli. This family friendly party is organized to celebrate Resurrection Day - a day of remembrance of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This year, Resurrection Day will also be a day of remembrance of the death and resurrection of our own nation Rwanda.
As to the group of people who will be performing, this is the same group of people who presented the Rythms of Africa at ZHOP Keep the Charge Conference and which were described with one staff member at ZHOP in these terms:

"I know that I speak for all of ZHOP when I say that you all did a phenomenal job.  Your testimony that God allowed the team to be spared from Rwanda is enough to be thankful for. I spoke yesterday with a man from KC who has been adopting children and inquired how you were able to bring so many back with you.  We all were grateful that we could meet your team and have faces and names to those who are the Rwandan story. Several of our staff members were encouraged with the dynamics of dance, rhythm and culture that you shared at our conference.  We were impressed with your hearts before the Lord and your willingness to give of yourself. One a personal note I have had your last song stuck in my head for the last few days and every time I start to sing it our staff joins in and we dance together."

About Jean Paul Samputu and Ingeli:

Jean Paul Samputu has established himself as one of the most prominent African artists on the world stage. A winner of the prestigious Kora Award (the "African Grammy") in 2003, Samputu travels the world as a cultural ambassador for Rwanda, bringing to his audiences not only traditional African singing, dancing, and drumming, but alsoa message of peace and reconciliation. Samputu has been honored with the opportunity to share his message and his music at The National Civil Rights Museum for the 2005 Freedom Awards, where he performed in front of honorees Oprah Winfrey, and Ruby Dee, as well as the ceremony's host, Golden Globe Award winner Angela Bassett. He is one of only two African artists to perform for the World Culture Open at the Lincoln Center in New York, and has also performed for the UN High Commisioner for Refugees for World Refugees Day. Other performances include Duke University, as part of Duke's prestigious Performance Series, the Lake Eden Arts Festival (LEAF) in North Carolina, Pace University and Pace Law School, and many other universities, churches, schools, and communities.

Please come join us as we dance and celebrate around the theme:

ZTCC – Brussels, A Season of Rest
By Grace Umuhire, March 17, 2007

We have already been through more than the three quaters of this time of rest in the grace of the Lord. According to His faithfullness, He always had prepared a special portion for us either during our weekly meetings or the Sunday’s ones (Lamentations3:23).
On February 25th , our pastor taught us the 5 principles of  “spiritual agriculture”. The starting point of this preaching was in Genesis 26:12-14 and 28-29. After being in Gerar for a long time, “Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the LORD blessed him”. The same idea is mentioned in 2Corinthians9:6-11. In ancient Israel, the feast of Weeks, organized 7 weeks after after the beginning of harvest, was like a seal to this truth (Deuteronomy16:9-12). Sowing for the Lord makes us reap in aboundance or in satisfaction of what we have. It is interesting to notice that the children of Israel walked in the wilderness for 40 years without having their clothes nor their shoes worn out (Deuteronomy8:2-4).
            These 5 principles are:

  • To recognize our right season, when God gives us a specific revelation and creats the occasion to sow in His field (Acts 4:36-37).
  • To identify a fertile land, a Church that produces fruits that remain (Mark 16:20).
  • To work on the land, preparing our hearts before giving (2Corinhtians 9:7, 2Corinthians 8:10-11). The murmuring or the silly words that may follow are like an infection which will corrupt our seed.
  • To respect the density of the seed: sowing throughout the year (Ecclesiastic 11:2-6)
  • The aboundance of the seed: the value that we give to what we sow matters (2Corinthians8:12, Luke 21:3-4).

Our pastor also shared with us how God taught him to give for His work. Finally, many responded to the altar call to become potential givers who will generously and sacrificially sow in the Lord’s fields.

The following Sunday, we had the great pleasure to receive Pastor Jeannot from CCB (Communauté Chrétienne de Bruxelles). He told us, through a vibrating preaching, about the importance of the Word of God in our lives. It has to dwell in us richly (Colossians3:16) so that we may have a word that fits for each situation (Psalm119:105). Sitting daily at the feet of Jesus, as did Mary, will allow us to receive what will never be taken away from us (Luke10:38-42). Therefore, this continual source of peace and joy will turn around our lifespan. So we need not to be in hurry but must wait for the word of God, that will never pass away, to be formed in us. May the Lord creat in us the desir to eat and to be filled by His word as did Ezekiel (Ezekiel 3:1-3).
He also shared with us the vision that he was given for 2007 in order to exhort us to persevere. It was in a football field: player n°9 (Pastot Jeannot) was waiting at his position for player n°7 (The Lord) to give him the ball. Meanwhile, player n°7 was in charge of the ball and the whole field. The children of Israel persisted in turning around Jéricho until the 7th day on the 7th time. Namaan went on as well till the 7th immersion in the Jordan River.

Last Sunday, at the beginning of the service, Maman Nadine Kukimunu urged us to forgive another as we have been made new creatures in the Christ (2Corinthians5:17-21). Then, Pastor Jojo, from Praise Center, Brussels, brought us a special message: the Lord wanted to show us His kindness. King David did this for Mephibosheth, son of Jonathan, because of the covenant he made with his father (2Samuel 9:1-13, 2Samuel 4:4, 2Samuel :16-17). We too, have the covenant of the Blood of Jesus, a covenant of life that includes our families Hebrews8:6, Psalm118:17. So was it now the time to leave this place of misery which is like Lo Debar, to forgive the people who may have let us down us and to take our rightful place at the Table of the King of kings. In order to respond to this invitation, one should go through The Way. Thus, we took time to pray for those who wanted to receive Jesus and together as a Church to welcome the kindness of God.
Besides, Pastor Jojo shared with us the wonderfull testimony of the journey she has just done in Africa (Kenya, Tanzania,...).She was crossing the Nation Game Reserve of Massaï Mare(Kenya) with a group of servants of God to minister in the area. Then, their car got stuck in the bed of a muddy river. Suddenly, a flood, coming like from nowhere, was about to overwhelm them when the Lord rescuded them literally as in Isaiah59:b. She also brought the warm greeting of the Zion Temple in Arusha (Tanzania).
On the other hand, Pastor Bienvenu is coming back during this week from Italy where he spent about 15 days with brethern. And as a ministry, we are to start on March 22nd , the 40days of prayer and fasting that we talked about lately.  Finally, Asaph Choir and Nana Lukezo are preparing a concert on May 12th ,2007.

Apostle Paul Gitwaza new CD available online at www.gitwaza.com

Apostle Paul Gitwaza released his new CD album “Imirimo Yawe” during his trip in the USA. The album contains 10 songs and each song has its deep meaning. Each song has the potential to lift up the listener to a higher level of glory. Many people know Paul Gitwaza as an Apostle and a Preacher, but not as a Worshipper. This new CD proves that there is no contradiction between the two.

According to him, a true Apostle must be a true Worshipper. To the listen to this CD, he gives this advice: “As you listen, I beseech you, calm down and let your mind settle at the foot of His Cross. Only in few minutes, your eyes will be open to new levels of glory, and you will enjoy and experience anew the love of Jesus Christ toward you!

To promote this CD, a new website is now operational. Currently, you can use it to buy Paul Gitwaza Music, Preaching and Teaching online, to get the songs lyrics for free, and to learn more about his worship career.

We will continue to develop it to include products and services afforded by the full spectrum of his prolific ministry!
